It is the first private nursing school in Odisha established and controlled by Kalinga Hospital Foundaton (A trust registered under Indian trust act 1960) in the year 2004, It is endorsed from Indian nursing council, Odisha nursing council, OUHS.KNS Bhubaneswar offers 2 courses BSc nursing and GNM.

Hostel facility is Available for students.

Kalinga nursing school, Bhubaneswar is one of the academic programs, the institute conducts outreach are services in rural community of Odisha throughout the year. The institute provides a platorm of educational excellence to its students as well to the faculties. Different staff development programs are conducted from time to time for the welfare of faculty.

For the student’s welfare the Vikash educational charitable trust provides scholarship to the meritorious students (100 students/ year) those who are from low economic background. The students are practice in Kalinga Hospital limited, Bhubaneswar, which is one of the pioneer private Hospital in Odisha. The Hospital is well known for its excellent and qualitatve patient care which mainly emphasizes on intensive and critical care services Last but not the least, the institute focuses on knowledge of facts as well the values.
